Abstract:Cabin safety directly effects the whole safety level of aircraft. By analyzing the definition and contents of civil aircraft cabin safety, cabin safety is divided into the cabin safety design and cabin safety regulation. According to the airworthiness regulation, cabin safeguards were analyzed. Based on the dynamic cabin emergency evacuation test environment, cabin safeguards such as the opening time and evacuation rate of emergency exit and the responsibilities of flight attendants were verified by experiments. The experiment results show that the average evacuation rate of type III emergency exit on the wing is 1.12 person/s and the average pedestrian flow is 1.21 s/person, which is basically consistent with the test results of FAA. The evacuation rate of front boarding gate (type C) is 0.41 person/s, and the average passenger flow is 2.27 s/person, which is quite different from FAA, because there is no inflatable slide in FAA test. The cabin is higher off the ground, hesitation and improper jump slide posture of tester are the primary factors affecting the exit evacuation rate and the average passenger flow on the slide. Flight attendants play a curial role in emergency evacuation. The smoke in cabin has an effect on emergency evacuation, and the drop of oxygen mask is neglect effect to evacuation.
