Abstract:According to airworthiness regulations, and with reference to international standards such as S1000D, civil aviation engine technical publications should form core capabilities covering the whole life cycle of civil aviation engine products, including source data and configuration control, compilation and full life revision, publication verification, release and customer support management. In this process, a huge number of data modules, complex relationships between data modules, and configuration management requirements are involved. At the beginning of the work, rational planning and management of tens of thousands of data modules is an important link in the compilation of technical publications. This paper analyzes the main maintenance manuals in civil aviation engine technical publications and their associations, introduces configuration management tools, and proposes a construction path to establish a technical publication Data Module Bill of Materials (DM-BOM). The construction provides support for the management of the entire life cycle of the data module, thereby effectively promoting the certification work of civil aviation engines and ensuring the continued airworthiness of the engines.
