Wing root joint is essential in transferring the load from wing to mid-fuselage and center wing. Based on the metallic wing and metallic center wing joint, the load-transferring is analyzed. The stress distribution reactions are compared with the notch depth of lower flange and cut-out of stringer end at different design details, and the optimized wing root joint structure is obtained.
