Abstract:The icing of wing is an important factor of threats to flight爷s safety. Based on the numerical simulation of ice, this paper investigates airfoil icing engineering correction methods. Using icing analysis software Sadrice,the numerical simulation of different airfoils surface icing at the various states is done. According to the results of icing wind tunnel test, the change parameters are studied, which affect the ice shape, and the most effective method of correction is obtained. Linearly, The current convective thermal parameter empirical formula is corrected,which fits the numerical shape well. A set of engineering methods to correct the numerical simulated ice shape is summarized in the end.
