The formation reason and evaluation factors of the dent are introduced. Combined with overhaul experience, the related dent damage inspection and evaluation methods for the areas that are prone to dent,such as fuselage skin, engine lip skin, slat leading edge, horizontal stabilizer leading edge and vertical stabilizer leading edge are analyzed and the supplemental control suggestion is presented.
