The mechanical model of damage developing in adhesive under simple loading-unloading condition is introduced in the paper. Their overseas numerical analysis solutions are also described. The applications in evaluating bonding structure durability and damage tolerance are explored and commented in order to promote the domestic airframe bonding structure design and analysis.
