Fuel system icing issue is a difficult point in current civil aircraft airworthiness certification. This paper investigates the forms of water presence in fuel and their transformation, analyzes the hazard of water icing, and illustrate and contrast the various Method of Compliance applied in fuel system icing certification. This paper provides support for C919 and ARJ21 fuel system icing certification.
